CV
EMPLOYMENT:
Dotdotdot - Senior Creative Producer
May 2022 - now
Venturing into the world of advertising while still keeping across broadcasting. Working at Dotdotdot has taught me a lot about managing projects and staff, clients and costs.
VCreative - Creative: Feb 2017 - May 2022
My role is to create content on-air, off air and social for Channel 5, Comedy Central, MTV and Nickelodeon.
I'm able to answer a marketing brief with a conceptual idea before pitching to marketing and commissioning. I've proven myself in the current role to be a skilled director and editor across day-to-day edits and integrated 360 campaigns.
I can work on a variety of brands, each with their own unique tone of voice and understand the importance of matching content to the brand.
Channel 5 Junior Creative:
Feb 2016 - Feb 2017
Creating 360 campaigns for Channel 5 and all associated digital channels. It was my role to generate an idea and execute that idea whether through directing or editing as well as generating off air content for all platforms.
BBC Video on demand - Creative: Nov 2015 - Jan 2016
As a freelance Junior Creative on BBC Store, my main duty was to create promos and other promotional material for a wide range of programmes from the BBC archive.
ITV Creative - Creative Assistant: Sept 2014 - Oct 2015
As a team assistant at ITV Creative, I assisted various members of the department in the delivery of promos. I also used any spare time I had to immerse myself in the promo making environment by creating my own promos, pitching ideas and helping out wherever possible.
Freelance Runner:
Jan 2013 – Sept 2014
After Envy I wanted to take a step back and think about where I wanted to be and what different career paths there might be.
I then became a freelance runner going between several companies:
Final Cut Stitch Cut and run Marshall Street Nomad
Envy Post:
Nov 2011 – Nov 2012
I quickly worked my way up from Runner to Digital librarian to Editorial assistant. I dealt with clients directly, resolving any issues they had and preparing the suite using my skills in digitising, consolidating and transcoding. I was trusted to perform most MCR tasks from exports to preparing for online, with a range of projects such as Top Gear Series 19 and Mankind.
Tantrum Production:
Oct 2011 – Nov 2011
Tantrum was my first experience in the industry and I immediately knew this is where I wanted to be. I quickly learnt the processes of making an advert/promo and this fuelled my ambition to become an editor.
Smith and Western:
Jan 2007 – Jun 2011
I began as a Kitchen porter and within a few months worked my way up the ranks to Chef, which I held for 4 years.
Within 2 years I took on Head Chef responsibilities and managed a team of staff.
